Basti/Tarpan

In the procedure, warm medicated oil or ghee is poured and retained over a specific body part. The temperature is maintained throughout the procedure.

It is generally used over -

• Lumber area - Kati Basti
• Knee joint - Jaanu Basti
• Heart - Hrud Basti
• Neck - Manya Basti

It is very effective in reducing pain and increasing mobility . Netra Tarpan / Basti - Medicated ghee /oil is kept on eyes . This is used for dryness of eyes, recurrent infections and many more
